services for seniors. Nestled in the heart of east Memphis,
Plough Towers is convenient to shopping malls, grocery stores, the
Jewish Community Center, movie theaters and doctors’ offices. |

Leigh A. Hendry
Executive Director
Leigh is the Executive Director at Plough Towers,
a Section 8 HUD high rise for seniors over 62 years of age and those
individuals under 62 years of age with mobility impairments. Leigh has
19 years of experience in the field of elder care; ranging from adult
day services, Alzheimer’s care as well as many years in the not for
profit sector. She has a degree from the University of Alabama in
Criminal Justice and Sociology, but found her passion working with the
aging population. A lifelong Memphian, Leigh states “Being a part of
Plough Towers is very rewarding. To see the positive impact living here
has for our residents is wonderful. Both our staff and our Board of
Directors are always looking for ways that not only help residents get
needed services, but they also are seeking ways to give the ‘gravy’
that really gives our residents a quality life.”
